Meet your guest teacher, Monica Packer

 

Hi! I'm a mom of 5 who often finds herself feeling tired, stressed, and overwhelmed.

What's that? you say . . . 

That's right, I'm not teaching this workshop because I'm 100% perfect and never experience bad moments nad hard days. I'm teaching it because I personally understand why we fail at our habits in ways most people overlook, and I know how to help you without shaming you.

 

As the primary caretaker of the kids who also works part-time, I know what it's like to feel like there's never enough time in the day to get things done.

And yet, I can tell you that most days I have a solid self-care habits and routines that help me show up to my busy life as my better self. 

  

I know well the desire to have solid habits like better sleep, exercise, eating nutritious meals, and even journaling, but failing far more than succeeding whenever I gave it the good ol' college try.

I gradually grew resentful of my life and my responsibilities that made it so my own self-care was a low priority; but, I mostly felt ashamed at myself and my lack of self-control.

But now, I genuinely look forward to the habits I have that keep me sane, stable, and strong.

I credit this shift to many years of learning how to take better care of myself in ways that are small AND powerful. This included reforming the way I both view and form habits to work with my life, rather than against it.
